Uses
Dexalgin® is a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory drug from the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Dexalgin® is used for short term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate acute pain, such as muscular pain or joint pain, painful periods (menstruation), toothaches.

* Concomitant administration with food delay the absorption rate of the drug, thus in case of acute pain it is recommended that administration is at least 30 minutes before meals.
Tablets
- Take 1 tablet (25 mg) every 8 hours, or half a 25 mg tablet every 4-6 hours.
- Do not take more than 3 tablets (75 mg) daily. The analgesic effect lasts from 4 to 6 hours.
- Take with adequate amount of water (a full glass) or take on an empty stomach for an even faster pain relief.
- If you are elderly or if you suffer from kidney or liver problems, you should take no more than 2 tablets (50 mg) daily.
- You should use the smallest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless your next dose is due.
Sachets
Not a tablets fan? Try Dexalgin® sachets.
- Take 1 sachet (25 mg) every 8 hours with no more than 3 sachets (75 mg) daily.
- Dissolve the whole content of 1 sachet in a glass of water.
- Shake/stir well to dissolve the granules.
- Drink the oral solution.
